Dr. Ackley was born and raised in Owosso, Mi. After graduating from Owosso High School he earned a bachelors degree from Michigan State University with a major in horticulture specializing in landscape design.

After working as a landscape designer for a four years Dr. Ackley decided to go back to school and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005.

Dr. Ackley’s approach to dental care is unbiased and individualized to each patient, where he is committed to improving his patient's life by providing quality care. It is his goal to make an impact in the health of his patients while incorporating compassion and care. Committed to learning and improving his knowledge, Dr. Ackley has completed nearly 1000 hours in continued education and currently finishing course work at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. Along with Kois, he has also completed course work at Spear Education in Scottsdale, AZ, and Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL. In addition to these world renowned educational facilities, Dr. Ackley has taken hundreds of hours associated with cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Ackley is a Qualified dentist in dental sleep medicine as well as a certified Invisalign dentist.

Even though Dr. Ackley limits a portion of his practice to the needs of his patients that require complex dental procedures such as full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic make-overs, complex implant cases, Invisalign, and sleep dental medicine there is no problem too small. Whether it is a complex aesthetic case or simple general dental care Dr. Ackley is committed to making a difference in his patients healthcare.
